I bought two of these, one as a gift for an urban friend (who goes out alone) and one for myself. I wanted one for myself because I sleep downstairs and wanted to be able to alert my significant other (who sleeps upstairs) in the event of a break in. In testing my Birdie, it's not loud enough to hear between floors. I thought it'd be louder. That being said, the device would be loud enough if used outside and within small distances, ie. a parking ramp or alley. I still like the product, but am unlikely to make another purchase. I'm considering buying an air horn to use for my purposes instead.

This time I purchased the blue one with the daisies, my favorite, and I just love it so much. I carry mine with my mace and I really do feel peace of mind when I have to be away from my home.
I have tested my Birdie and it’s pretty loud for a tiny device.
Everyone should consider having one of these to keep with them at all times because, it’s just not safe anymore.

The product is great, however I paid for priority shipping but did not receive the item in 2-5 days. When I inquired with customer service SheBirdie refunded the additional fee for priority shipping and blamed the USPS for not delivering the package priority. However, when the USPS delivered my order a couple days later it was never sent priority shipping by SheBirdie. I reported this to SheBirdie by email with a picture attached, but there no response. I believe honesty is best practice for a business. The product was great, as usual, but I did not appreciate the deception and felt SheBirdie should have refunded me for their mistake.
